About Me.
Hi, there!
I’m a French to English translator and subtitler based in Minneapolis, Minnesota (United States), and recently graduated from New York University’s Translation and Interpreting Master’s program.
What now? I’m looking for professional opportunities to further my translation and subtitling experience! I am particularly interested in subtitling and localization within the entertainment and video game industries. I have professional experience with legal, government, and art (management, history, etc.).

Background
I’m a native US English speaker who has always been interested in languages. I grew up speaking English and Spanish with family, but was fascinated by French cinema and began learning French in high school to watch films without subtitles!
During my undergraduate years, I studied abroad in Paris for two years and had the opportunity to be integrated among French students studying art history and the French language. I went on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and French Language at California State University, Sacramento. My time abroad led to a new interest in translation and during the COVID pandemic, I decided to pursue a Master’s in Translation and Interpreting and get involved*!
I completed my Master’s in December 2024, after defending my thesis “Inclusive Language: Gender and Sexual Identities in French to English Translation” under Professor Roxana Dinu’s supervision.
